The fixtures for World Cup 2023 warm-up matches are out and India will be facing England on September 30 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. The hosts will face Netherlands in their second and final warm-up match at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram and Hyderabad are the three venues which will be hosting the 10 warm-up games for each of the ten teams participating in the tournament. The matches will be held across four days from Friday, September 29 to Tuesday, October 3. All the matches will start from 2:00 PM IST.
"In line with ensuring a seamless and comprehensive ticketing experience for fans, the sales process for this iconic tournament will be introduced in a series of carefully managed phases. The initial phase entails an exclusive 24-hour window designated exclusively for ICC's commercial partner, Mastercard," a BCCI release stated. Mastercard users will have the opportunity to buy tickets for all India and non-India matches one day in advance. Mastercard users can buy tickets for all non-India matches from August 24, while for all India matches from August 29.
